Goldstein, Elaine (nee Newman), 88, beloved wife of the late Maxwell, devoted mother of Barbara (Larry) Goldberg and Gerry (Cindy) Goldstein, loving grandmother of Kenneth (Carmen) Goldberg and Amy (Scott) Salzstein, Matt, Eric and Josh Goldstein, great-grandmother of Kelly, Rachel and Abbie, best friend of Frances Schaffer and Beverly Gore. Funeral services Friday, 11 a.m. at Temple Chai, Checker Road (1/2 mile north of Lake Cook Road; just west of Arlington Heights Road), Long Grove. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Elaine's name to Alzheimer's Association, 4709 W. Golf Road, Skokie, IL, 60076, would be appreciated. Info., Piser Funeral Services, 847-679-4740.
