Edward Eberstadt Obituary

Eberstadt Sr., Edward Offutt 86, born November 2, 1930, in New York City, NY passed away peacefully on September 4, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Survived by his loving wife, Martha Eberstadt; daughter, Lianne; his son Edward Jr. and his brother, Carol Krause. Ed was a kind, loving person who always had a sense of humor. He enjoyed jazz music and boxing. Ed could always be seen playing a piano, golfing or skeet shooting with his son and close friends at Medinah C.C. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, close friends and dog. Ed served 4 years in the USAF and started his sales career with Midvale Heppenstall Steel co., and he retired self employed in the Metals industry. There will not be a service held locally. Instead, a celebration of life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.Heart.org or a charity of your choice.
