Dear Ken, Jennifer, Milan and Grandchildren,
We were so very sorry to hear of Donna's passing. So many memories come to mind of Donna. Classy is probably the best word to describe Donna. Whether she was working with the Arch-Con ladies, on the St. Clare School Board, selling raffle tickets or making hot dogs at the carnival, she always did it with style and class! You couldn't ask for a better friend or a harder worker. When you talk about people who make a difference and who touched people's lives in a positive way, Donna's name is most certainly on that list. We will miss her.

July 26, 2009

Ken and Jennifer: We are so shocked and shaken --couldn't believe my ears when Mary told me on the phone that Donna passed away. We weep with you, and loved her and y'all as part of the Vanek extended family for so many years. We will pray for her and know that she has already been welcomed into the Heavenly Kingdom and has seen the face of Jesus! Alleluia, and thank the Lord for letting us know her and share her life during all these years she graced the Earth. We send our love and condolences long distance--Diane (Vanek) and Mike Gradassi

Donna was always the classiest lady I knew. Though our contact was periodic and not constant, she was someone that was always "just around the corner" and, when you did catch up with her, it was like you were never apart. She will be greatly missed by many, many people, but especially Ken, Jennifer and her grandchildren. God rest her soul.

I wish I could be there to celebrate Donna's life with you but I am thinking about you and praying for you all as you go through this most difficult time. Donna was a very special lady and all of us younger cousins admired her and looked up to her. She had a very sweet spirit that drew everyone to her. The last time I saw her was at Stacy Lindberg's wedding and she was as beautiful as ever. I am so thankful I was able to have that last contact with her. My deepest condolences.
