I was shocked to hear that Donny died. I knew Donny since first grade And he was my brother Jim´s best friend. I remember when he met Joyce and how and love the two of them were. We did a lot together from cheering them on when they won their Lafollette park basketball championship, Through a short time at St. Vincent, de Paul seminary and his freshman year. I remember all the baseball games that he played in with my brother and the guys like Bobby Konopka, And even intending the Bulls game up in the Nosebleed bleachers!! He was a good lifetime friend and will be truly missed!!

Don was a loyal and strong family man, and a kind soul. I remember him and the family well when I was assigned to St Robert Bellarmine Parish. My sympathies to his sons, grandchildren and family and friends who will miss him.

His dedication to his faith and family inspired anyone who knew him. Don, with your parents and with Joyce and Eric, Rest In Peace.
