Miljevic, Desanka "Desa" Age 79, late of the East Side, passed away July 28, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Dusan Miljevic; loving mother of Milan Miljevic and George (Marion) Miljevic; devoted grandmother of Nicholas, Christina, and Michael. Preceded in death by her sisters, Anka (late Djuro) Knezevic, Sofija (late Djuro "Juja") Vezmar, Milena Latas and Nada Lalic, and her brothers, Milan Zakula and Nikola Zakula. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Desa was a retired employee of General Mills and a member of St. Simeon Mirotochivi Serbian Orthodox Church & Church Circle of Serbian Sisters Kolo. Visitation Sunday 3:00-8:00 p.m. with a Pomen Service at 7:30 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago. Funeral Services Monday, July 31, 2017 DIRECTLY AT New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery Church where Desa will lie in state from 12:00 noon until time of service at 12:30 p.m. with the Very Rev. Luka Lukic Officiating. Interment New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Cemetery.
