Suddenly; Age 31; Devoted son of Paula, nee O'Keefe, and the late Ronald; Loving brother of Jason (Mary), Shannon, Joshua (Korie), and Meghan; Beloved uncle of Kylie, Tristin, Halee Kay, Austin, Brandon, Nia, Flynn, Timothy, Bryce, Layla Jo, Parker Grace, Milo, and Etta Jeanne; Dear nephew, cousin, mentor, and friend to many; Best friend of Zak and Mark; His heart, Kerterial; Active and proud Staff Sgt. and Section Chief, U.S. Army; Amazing soldier to all he has mentored while serving our country. David was a graduate of St. Laurence High School and was a career member of the Armed Forces. David enjoyed traveling the world while dedicating his life to the service of others and always looked forward to returning home where he would be welcomed with open arms and warm hearts. David loved Mexican food and a good haircut, both of which were the first order of business when he would change Duty Stations. A lifelong Cubs fan, David enjoyed shopping, staying fit and had recently taken an interest in culinary creations. David shared his life stories through his many tattoos, all of which had special meaning to him, and he always made time to ensure the legacy of those who had preceded him in death lived on.
