Clarence "Ed" Heerdt, age 90, Ret. C.P.D., SFC Army Ret. Beloved husband of the late Nancy J. Heerdt, nee Tross; loving father of Donna L. (Peter) Martin, Karen J. (Chris) Appel and Edward W. Heerdt; cherished grandfather of Andrew, Jenny, Emily, Matthew, Megan, Jason Danny and Brendan; dear brother of the late Shirley Ann Williams; Visitation Thursday, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Skaja Terrance Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee, Niles, IL. Family and friends are meeting on Friday at 1:00 pm for a burial at the Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island Illinois.
