Charles Kelly Obituary
Kelly, Rev. Charles F. Pastor Emeritus of St. Daniel the Prophet Church, loving son of the late Charles J. and Catherine (nee Conroy) Kelly, dear brother of the late John Eugene Kelly and the late Joseph Ambrose Kelly. Pastor of St. Daniel the Prophet Church from 1984-92 and St. Philomena from 1972-84. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I. on Wednesday, November 25 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Daniel the Prophet Church. Interment All Saints Cemetery. When my father lived in our "old neighborhood," my sister and I called the St. Daniel Rectory for someone to anoint him. We interrupted Fr. Kelly's supper and he came to my dad's home right away. He tenderly gave communion to my dad and said the last rites. Just a few days later, Fr. Kelly prayed a beautiful funeral mass for my dad and talked about how Enoch had walked with God. Surely God was walking with Father Kelly throughout his priestly life. May the perpetual light shine on him as he joins all the saints in heaven.

Fr. Kelly was our Pastor at St.Philomeana for many years, during this time I served as a altar server. On November 20th 1982 Fr Kelly married Diane and I. We were again blessed to have Fr. Kelly say a special mass for us at our 25th grammer school reunion in 2002 where I was able to serve him at the altar once again. It is a memory I will cherish. Fr. Kelly may you rest in peace.

Fr Kelly was a wonderful support for the young men and family members of Brother James Court. He will be greatly missed. May he find eternal peace with the Lord.
