Thank You for the meaningful conversation at the big butcher block table one Sunday morning years back. I would never want anyone taking my daughter skydiving either. It was my pleasure knowing you and attending Friday night baseball games! You are exactly what everyone says! Kind, caring and above all loving!!! Thank You, David

To The comiskey family: I want to send my deepest condolences to all of you. I immediately notified all of the Ryan's immediate relatives. I didn't know Mr. C for along time but my husband and I enjoyed meeting him. Tim mentioned how he enjoyed visiting with Mr. C the few times we were with him. Colleen and family;
You have my heart felt sympathies at the passing of your father. He has been a wonderful friend for over 45 years. Our lockers at the golf club were one apart, and I always knew that if I had an 8:00AM tee time and Charlie was at his locker at the same time, I'd never make the tee off.....there were White Sox stories to tell and be listened to.
Sometime I'll tell you a wonderful tale of your dad when he came to my dad's visitation...it was pure Charlie.
I felt priviledged to know him and be known BY him. As I would often say in passing, good morning Mr. Cellular Field....He seemed to get a kick out of that...he KNEW I meant differntly.
With affection for all the Comiskey's,
Robb Svendsen

My father, John Farmakes, knew Mr. Comiskey, through St. Isaac Jogues. My dad is unable to pay his respects (he is 93) but wishes to express his sympathy to Mr. Comiskey's family. I went to school with Colleen at St. Isaac Jogues in the mid-1950s. Please accept my sympathies as well.

Mr. Comiskey was a wonderful man who will be missed. There were not enough men like him in this world, honest, kind, caring. My late mother worked for him for 10 years with the White Sox and always spoke of how kind he was, what a wonderful man to work for. God Bless Mr. Comiskey and his beloved family.
