Chanda was like a second mother to me when I was 10 and through my teenage years. I am now 30 and just found out today through a friend about her passing. It breaks my heart as I remenber all the good times we shared. How i'd go to Chet & Chanda's on Sunday's after church. She called me her little Kimmy:) I have been sending her Christmas cards for the past 10 years with only one response. I am very grateful to her for the time she took to be a mentor to me. I miss her greatly and pray now that she rests eternally in God's loving arms. My sincere condolences to her family. Kimberly Galaviz "Evans".

Chanda was my best friend in the world from 3rd grade through adulthood. There are so many memories of her for me. I remember her and I, along with our kids were at a wading pool in Berwyn. A storm came out of nowhere, and there was a handicapped woman with children at the pool, scrambling to get out of the rain. Chanda went to her aid immediatly, and insisted on driving her and her family home in the safety of her van. She was a giving, caring, loving person. I miss my best friend.
