Devine, Bernard age 76, passed away on January 13, 2003. Born in Kankakee, residing in New Lenox, Dolton and Harvey for the past 52 years. Beloved husband of Rita (nee Riberdy), loving father to Patrick "Andy" (Nancy) of Oak Forest, IL and Timothy "Andy" (Beth) of Waterloo, IA, proud grandfather of Kelly, Katie, Kristy, Patrick and Amy Devine, great grandfather of Connor Devine, dear brother of Mary Dixon of Homewood, Il, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Former Illinois Bell and Ameritech employee for 38 years. Veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Cedar at Francis Roads, Thursday, January 16, 2003 from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Friday, January 17, 2003, prayer services at 9:30 a.m. to St. Jude's Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment at St's Mary's and Joseph Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Chebanse.
