Well tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I miss you. You are on my heart. We celebrated Christmas at Paulas last week and had Ham for dinner. I made split pea soup . It made me think of you . I know how much you liked split pea soup and not alot of people do. I want you to know that you have been an inspiration to my MIke. He has a son now and he is taking a major responsibility in raising him . He said "I want to be like Tony". Sometimes we don't know how our life touches or effects other lives. Thank you for your example in how you raised Carree. There is an emptiness in our family without you. I love you I miss your smile and your hugs and your laugh.Your sister

Tony, here it is another holiday. Please wrap your arms around Carree. This will be a very emotional time for her. I love you and think of you everyday. The only thing that makes me feel better is knowing you are at peace and do not hurt anymore. Your oldest sister

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Tony, today is your bithday. I would be calling you and hearing your voice and saying happy birthday, But today is not happy for me I cannot hear your voice. I only wished I had saved my voice msg. on my answering machine "This is your brother Tony I am alright."
I so wished I had shown up on your doorstep like I told you I would when you were having your difficult times. I got you to laugh with that one. I wish I had ONE MORE DAY with you so we could talk. I know you are at peace, the health and peace you could not find here. I miss your laugh and your hug and that wonderful smile. I look at your smile every day in my living room. You were a special little brother. Tyler still has the Harley shirt on his head board of his bed. You always had a special way with kids. Such a good dad. I miss you love Anne

Dear Mischke Family
As Marcie's friend for almost 40 years, I remember Tony as a sweet and funny kid. He wasn't the usual pesty younger brother; he always made us laugh. One lasting memory of Tony has stayed with me all these years. It happened the year Mrs. Mischke died. Tony had made her a present at school, but she passed away before he could give it to her. I'll never forget his straightforward innocence when asking Marcie and I what he should do with the gift because he didn't have a mom to give it to.
That was a heartbreaking moment, just as Tony's passing is tragically heartbreaking.
Like his mom, Tony was much too young to die. But if there is any comfort to take from this, perhaps it is in believeing that Mrs. Mischke got that homemade treasure after all - from her sweet little boy - as they are now together, safe and sound, wrapped in the love of Jesus.
My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with all of you.
God Bless~ Kathy Whirity

Dear Mischke Family, We are so sorry to hear that Tony has died and at such a young age, you are all in our prayers. Whenever our family talks about the old neighborhood, the Mischke's are always mentioned. Going down the list of all your names has brought back many memories. We have lived in the Lemont area since 1989, but it will never be like Central Park with so many kids on one block. God Bles all of you. Love, Ann & Bill Bellair

Tony was the greatest neighbor we had. in the summer he always woke me up at 530 in the morning when he started his harley, i never got annoyed with it though. It was like tony was saying good morning.
He will always be in my heart and he was a wonderful person. His smile lit up the room and everyone can agree with me that his laughter was contagious. He has the most distinctive beautiful laugh and i will always remember the way he laughed. Goodbye Tony. I will miss you.
