Dear Bob,
I was sorry to hear of the death of your mother.My memories of her are seeing her in church at H.O.C.
and her calling you and Ken in for supper as we played softball in the street, not an easy job. She was a strong religious woman,qualities we don't see enough of today.She was from the "Great Generation" and will be sorely missed.I hope all is well with you and yours. Please forward my sympathy to your Dad,Ken and all the other Gilberts.

Dear Gilbert Family;
I am so very sorry to hear about your mom. She was one of the dearest people I know and I feel honored to have been her godaughter. She will certainly be missed and it was truly a priveledge knowing her. Please know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

As a Boy I looked up to Mrs. Gilbert as a wonderful mother. As a man I looked up to her as a beautiful mother, wife, grandmother.
An example of someone we could all learn from. May she rest in peace.
