I was saddened to hear about the passing of Al Diamond. In fact, I just heard the news tonight. I was thinking about him as we participated in the Passover Seder. Al spent many Passover Seders with my family and I. I most remember how he got my family to take a walk after eating a large Passover meal. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family. He was a special man and I'm glad to have known him.

Elaine, I just heard about Al's passing. I am so sorry. I will always remember when you and Al and I toured Israel with the Oakton Comunity College Tours. The Hebrew pin with my name on it is still treasured. Gentle, teddy bear Al has always been such a kind, loving friend. He is missed, but many memories will remain forever. Mr. Diamond was a wonderful, loving person. I was a friend of his daughter Robin and I still remember his warm presence at the birthday dinners he used to arrange for Robin and all of her girlfriends, back in the early 1970s. He was always so gracious that one just wanted to be around him. He will be greatly missed. Beryl Satter, New York City.

I have known Al Diamond for over 50 years as a friend and a client and he was one of the most peaceful and wonderful people I have ever known. I consider him to be like a brother and will miss him forever. He also befriended my family and attended many Passover meals with all of my children and their mothers. It is interesting that he passed away at this time of year. When I talked to him several weeks ago he seemed disappointed but still fighting to continue his wonderful life. I want to give my heartfelt condolances to Elaine, his wife, Robin, his daughter and to his grandson, Trevor. The world will miss him as I will forever. Morey (Maurice M. Glazer)

Al was a very popular tour guide at The Field Museum. Visitors loved to go on Al's museum Highlight Tours and enjoyed the stories he told about the exhibits. Al will be dearly missed by the docents and staff of Field Museum. Lunch on Tuesdays in the volunteer lounge won't be the same. We all learned so much for Al, and always enjoyed his conversation and company.
