Nancy Bouziden, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 21, 1944, a daughter of the late James and Thelma (Simpson) Minner. Nancy graduated from North Caroline High School in Maryland and would go on to hold several positions in her career, working with the Teamsters Union, as a secretary at Kemble Street School and eventually ending her career in banking with the UFCW Credit Union prior to retirement. On September 14, 1968, she married Francis A. Bouziden in St. Basil’s Church in Utica, a blessed union of 57 years.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, Sito and sister who loved family first and foremost. When she wasn’t in the kitchen, she loved the casino, golf and her Josh Allen.
She is survived by her loving husband, Francis; her daughter, Tina (Michael) Post, Sauquoit; her son, Francis (Jennifer) Bouziden, Cicero; her cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Mariah, Abigail, Alicia and Katherine; her siblings, James Minner, Peggy Butler, Elaine Cohee and Dale (Candy) Minner; her sister-in-law, Maureen Lewis as well as numerous nieces and nephew and her special friend Sue DeLaire. Nancy was predeceased by her in-laws, Donna Lee Minner, Hugh Butler, Albert and Dorothy Bouziden and Joseph Lewis.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Scala, Roefaro & Karboski Funeral Home 1122 Culver Ave. Funeral services will follow at 12 Noon at St. Louis Gonzaga Church where her Divine Liturgy of the Faithful Departed will be celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Boutros El Hachem.
Nancy’s family would like to thank her home-health aides for the care and compassion shown over the past several months.
Remembrances in Nancy’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the services.
