Julia A. "Judy" Smith

Mrs. Julia Ann "Judy" Smith, 93, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on September 5, 2024. Judy was born to the late Fulton Daniels and Lillian Daniels (Copeland). Judy loved tending to her outdoor garden. She was an accomplished seamstress, expert furniture refinisher and had the drive, determination and persistence to accomplish all she faced in life. She is survived by her husband, Milton A. Smith Jr.; her son, Keith A. Smith (Christine N. Adams); her two grandsons, Martin A. Smith (Becca) and Taylor G. Smith; her great-grandson, Barrett A. Smith; and her niece, Jackie Lynn Lanza.

A graveside service will be held September 10, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Forsyth Memorial Park. To reflect Judy's personality and honor her memory, the family requests those in attendance to dress in casual, colorful attire. The family invites friends to the home following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the Smith family.
