Timothy Sullivan Obituary

Timothy J. Sullivan, 58, of Manchester, NH, passed away suddenly on December 29, 2025.

A lifelong resident of the Queen City, Timothy was born on May 2, 1967, to Daniel and Violet (Goonan) Sullivan, and remained deeply connected to the community that shaped his life. He was a graduate of Manchester Central High School, Class of 1985.

Timothy built a successful career as a skilled and respected salesman, most notably in the automotive industry, while also lending his talents to other sales roles across various careers throughout his life. His ability to connect with people, combined with his knowledge, persistence, and genuine approach, earned him the trust and respect of colleagues and customers alike. Beyond his professional pursuits, he was an avid musician, performer and songwriter, finding great joy in music as both an outlet and a way to bring people together.

Those who knew Timothy will remember him as a man of remarkable depth and character. He was caring, intelligent, and deeply selfless, always willing to show up for others without hesitation. Known for his quick wit and sharp sense of humor, Timothy had a natural ability to bring laughter and lightness to even the most ordinary moments. He was resourceful and capable, able to adapt, solve problems, and navigate life with confidence and creativity. Strong in his convictions, he could be steadfast and stubborn at times, yet this firmness reflected his authenticity and passion for what he believed in. Whether through conversation, music, or simple presence, Timothy made those around him feel understood, valued, and at ease, leaving a lasting impression that will not soon be forgotten.

In addition to his mother, Violet "Vi" Sullivan, of Port Charlotte, FL, Timothy is survived by his beloved children, Evan Sullivan, of Merrimack, and Sara Sullivan, of Hampton, NH; his brothers, Patrick Sullivan, of Goffstown, Daniel Sullivan, of Windham, Martin Sullivan, and Brian Sullivan, both of Manchester; many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, his partner, Jill Carpenter, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Services: Calling hours will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM in the funeral home.

Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Manchester, NH.

Sully, I will miss you. Hadn't seen you lately but knowing I'll never get to hear your wit and humor or jam on acoustic guitars really saddens me. The Sully Show....

Unfortunately I'll be out of town next week for a work trip I cannot adjust. Was really hoping to be there. I'll always remember the laughs and good times we had. Rest easy.

The best thoughts to all of the Sullivan family during this time.
