Burt Fleeger joined his Heavenly Father on May 28, 2024. Burt was born on October 4, 1946 in Tulsa, OK, to John and Bunky Fleeger. Burt attended Elliot Elementary, Holland Hall Middle School, Edison High School and graduated from Memorial High School in 1964. He graduated in 1969 with a Bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania Military College in Chester, PA. He married Linda, the love of his life, in August of 1969. They moved to Wachenheim, Germany where Burt served in the US Army.  After returning to the states, Burt served in the Army Reserves and retired with the rank of captain. Burt and Linda raised two daughters, Melissa and Amanda. In addition to being a husband and father, Burt loved meeting new people, being a member of the Happy Christians Sunday School class at Asbury, helping those in need, doting over the family dogs, Pepper and Sophie, being a born and bred Okie, coaching his daughters' softball teams and traveling.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, John and Bunky Fleeger; sisters, Ann Fleeger and Susan Fleener; brother, Jeff Fleeger. He is survived by: his wife Linda; daughters Amanda Fleeger and Melissa McClendon and her husband Mark; grandsons Colin and Brady McClendon; sister Karen Knowles and her husband Tim; brother John Fleeger; nephew Gary Fleener; and niece Mardi Andrews.
