Mark Powers Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Lewis Powers announce his passing on June 24, 2024. A beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Mark leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love for the outdoors, and dedication to his family.

He was born in Evanston, Wyoming September 25, 1949 to Joseph and Nellie Fackrell Powers. He was a very talented mechanic and he loved good food. He was spiritual with the outdoors, loved his old cars and the mountains, working with wood making pretty things and working hard on his ranch.

He is survived by his sons, Mark (Rita) Powers, Cory (Kaori) Powers and Matt (Mary) Powers; brother Mick Powers; sister Jean Muller and his 17 grandchildren Tim, Bryce, Christian, Brighton, Ethan, Lanaya, Autumn, Kyle, Colton, Rhenona, Kayla, Thomas, Lyla, Devlin, Ayden, Sabrina and Preston and 14 great grandchildren.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Joyce Roundtree.

A memorial service to honor Mark's life will be held at his home at 295 CR 253, Lyman, WY 82937 on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM.

Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, commemorate his life, and find comfort in each other's presence during this difficult time. Let us join in celebrating the life of Mark Lewis Powers and supporting his family during this period of grief.
