I have childhood memories of the Mazzaferro family when they lived on Elm Street in Albany. I lived on Myrtle Avenue next door to the Murphy family who were related to Mazzaferro's. I knew Mazzaferro's from Cathedral school and church. I moved from Albany back in the 80's; I now live in Virginia Beach, VA. My condolences to the family.

To the family,
I am saddened to learn of Bob's death.
Over many years, we regularly chatted when crossing paths at the YMCA, first in Albany at the old Washington Avenue location and, more recently, in Bethlehem. He was a good guy and will be missed.
Sincere condolences.

Bobby & I bonded a friendship at the Albany YMCA many years ago. I saw him about a couple of months ago at the Bethlehem YMCA. He had his usual friendly smile and always asked about my family and health He always talked about the house that he wanted to buy...that got away. Bobby was well liked by everyone at the "Y". We will all miss him very much.

A lovely man who I met through the YMCA and chatted with often about sports or politics or just the world at large. May his memory be for a blessing.

R.I.P. Bob.
A sweet guy. He loved is easy listening instrumental pop music and light jazz. He would bring his cassette 'boom box' to the YMCA and play his music in the locker room...until some grump complained about it. We would talk about music and other subjects. I'm saddened at his death. Another sweet soul has left the planet.
