EXETER — Margaret E. Maryovich, 89, of Exeter, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Exeter.
Born in Exeter, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Ferenchick Maryovich. Margaret was a member of the former St. John the Baptist Church, Exeter, before its closure, and then St. Anthony's Church, Exeter, as well as the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Prior to retiring, she had worked in the garment industry: first at Drury Clothing, then Star Stitching, and lastly at Caribe Manufacturing, West Pittston.
Preceding her in death were her siblings: Emily Stabinsky, Mary (Mimi) Trioano, George, Thomas and Joseph Maryovich Sr.
She is survived by her nephew, Joseph, and niece, Michele Maryovich, Exeter; niece, Barbara Lumley, West Pittston; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Gubbiotti Funeral Home LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Church (Corpus Christi Parish), 224 Memorial St., Exeter, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schooley St., Exeter.

Margie will be missed. She was a caring woman who took care of her family and others. I remember great memories of my childhood seeing her and her watching out for us . I recently had a great visit with her and was amazed at how sharp she was. Rest In Peace Margie
