Dorothy Tilman Obituary
96, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday September 24, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Edward R. Tilman, Sr. Dorothy is survived by her son, Edward R. Tilman, Jr. (Connie); daughter, Dorothy Gail Tilman (Jim Wolf); three grandchildren, Amy L. Tilman, William T. Arrington (Joann), Charles Newton (Abby); two great grandchildren, William Hunter Arrington (Samantha) and Thomas Newton; great great-granddaughter, Amelia Arrington. She was the oldest member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Powhatan Branch. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 6 pm at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Powhatan Branch. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com.
