Michael Leonhart Obituary
Michael L. Leonhart, 56, of Scranton, died Monday after a brief illness at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late William and Ann Davitt Leonhart. He was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School.
Mike enjoyed collecting and listening to vinyl records, especially the Beatles and Rolling Stones. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and Las Vegas Raiders fan.
Surviving are two daughters, Hayley Button, Scranton; and Megyn Leonhart, Stockholm, N.J.; two grandchildren, Briella Drozdick and Juliette Loch; a sister, Ellen Earl and husband, Barton, Ocala, Fla.; two brothers, Robert Leonhart, Lake Winola; and William Leonhart and wife, Pablita, Clarks Summit; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City. Pastor Ginger Daubenhauser will conduct a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
