DOUGLAS COLE Obituary

CLEARFIELD - Douglas Lee Cole, 78, of Clearfield passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

He was born on Nov. 16, 1945 in Frenchville, a son of the late Jim Cole and Edith (Shirey) Kifer.

Doug worked as a logger for many years. He loved to fish and hunt, and especially enjoyed hunting with his granddaughter. He enjoyed wrestling and football, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed dearly by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Kay (Luzier) Cole whom he wed Aug. 23, 1985; three sons, Douglas 'Buddy' Cole Jr. and wife Sherri, Roger Cole and wife Amanda, and Randy Cole and companion Selena; eight grandchildren, Shanna, Lacey, Kya, Alexis, McKenzie, Gabrielle, Randy 'RJ', and Brennan; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Cole and wife Cindy, and Jim Cole; and two sisters, Frances 'Frenchie' Woodling, and Linda McGonigal and husband Ralph.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by numerous siblings.

A viewing will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m.
