I was so sorry to see the remembrance in the paper. I had not known that Bob had died until I saw the remembrance. I worked with him at the Sheriff's Department and the thing that I remember most was that he was a very kind and quiet guy. I had often thought that he was a lot like Will. I just want the family to know that he was a very good guy and was very well liked at work. Please know that people remember him. Diane Leshinski

I am truly sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with Bobby in Jail Transport and wished him well when he transferred to patrol. He will be missed, and you will be in my thoughts.

My prayers go out to the entire Richards family. Bob was a friend and a great co-worker over the 22 years we worked together. I don't think I ever saw anybody with any better a disposition for the job than Bob had.

When I think back and realize that it's been over 30 years since Bob worked at Jamesville, I'm amazed how the time has flown. I had many professional contacts with him as he worked in the southeast area for quite some time. I last ran into him in Nottingham Plaza before he retired, and we chatted for a few minutes. It can be said that he was a family man first. That was always evident. May you cherish the memories of this great man, as I do. May he rest in peace.
