Mildred Smith Obituary

Mildred Louise Smith Borned in Shawnee Oklahoma, Dec. 15,1924 to Marvin and Thelma Moore. She was the third child of 10, the oldest daughter. The family called her "SIS". She was married to Raymond Edward Smith, (Ray),on July 2, 1949. They lived in the Rio Grande Valley until moving to Austin in 1959. There they built a home and raised 4 amazing sons: Daine, Kenneth, David and Eddie. They were sincere in their faith and the church. Ray passed in 1988. Mildred loved telling stories, of her childhood and life's experiences. She was active at Austin Senior Citizen Activity Center. There she met her 2nd husband, John Feichtinger, married Jan. 18, 2003; she was 78, he was 84! They spent many happy days together before her health started to decline in 2009. Mildred had an incredible love for all her family, friends and church. She went to be with our Lord Jesus, March 16, 2012. Services will be at 2 p.m., March 19 @ Westoak Woods Baptist 2900 West Slaughter Ln. Viewing @ 12:30-1:30. Graveside @ Live Oak Cemetary on Twin Creeks Dr. in Manchaca.
