Constance Laughlin Obituary
November 18, 2024
Constance "Connie" Hoke Laughlin, 80, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Laughlin; and her parents, Katherine and Charles Hoke. She is survived by her daughter Molly (Brian Flynn) and her brother, Howard Hoke. She graduated from Clayton High School in 1962 and University of Missouri School of Journalism in 1966. Her passion for St. Louis led her to be a well-loved real estate agent by her clients for over 40 years.
Services: Visitation at Lupton Chapel, 7233 Delmar Blvd., on Thurs., Dec. 5, 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, 11 a.m. at Lupton Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Missouri or St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.

I have fond memories of Christmas Caroling and house searching with Connie! I recall how much fun we had together. Always laughing. Each time we met it seemed we shared the story of a house viewing in which a huge dog chased us down a very long sidewalk. all 3 of us diving into Connie's car, Connie landing on top of my husband Terry in the back seat! That dog was jumping on the car growling, so Connie threw the keys over the front seat to me and I drove to the next house! She was an outstanding realtor for that 1st and 3 subsequent purchases(and house sales, too). Connie brought joy to all social and business occasions we were lucky to share with her.

Hi Molly, Your Mom was a great friend of my Mom, Fern O´Neal. I can remember the twoof them sitting around Fern´s kitchen table swapping Real Estate stories. Connie had a great sense of humor and was the only person I know of that could keep Fern in line. What a Pair!
