Brenda Gay Obituary

Brenda was my reacher, neighbor, and friend from Sparta. She was a bright light, a welcoming spirit, and a kind soul with the bonus of one of the best and brightest personalities! She brought wisdom, joy, and laughter everywhere she went. I absolutely adore her and will always be grateful for her guidance and kindness. I am sending lots of love and prayers for peace and healing to Todd and her family. ❤

I have been so blessed to have Brenda in my life. She was such fun and kept us entertained at our Tech Dixie Clique reunions. She will certainly be missed. Love to all the family.

Brenda’s personality was so big and outgoing she made friends to all the people around her. It’s hard to believe she is no longer with us. I met Brenda as a typing student at White County High School. Then later spent many years as a fellow teacher in the White. County school system. We enjoyed many times together. She willed be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Brenda will be missed by so very many people.

Brenda was one of the most fun loving, caring friend who never met a stranger! She will be missed by soooo many!

Brenda was a total joy to be around—unfortunately, when we stopped having our family reunions, I didn’t get to see her. She was the most fun, and vibrant person I have ever known. She always told the best stories. My daddy used to call me “Motor Mouth”, as that is what he called Brenda. I cannot begin to imagine how many lives she touched through the years. I know she had to be the favorite teacher in her school. My dear, sweet, and fun cousin—I will miss you always.

Brenda was a jewel--a rare gem. She lite up everything around her. She was the Queen of Hearts.

I so enjoyed my conversations with Brenda. She was beautiful on the inside and outside. Her smile, laughter, and personality drew people to her in such a special way. She seemed to love people and life, always engaging actively with those around her showing her interest in them.
My heart goes out to Don and her family during this difficult time. Loss can be so hard but knowing Brenda was a follower of Jesus can turn some of the sadness into joy, for now she is in the presence of her Lord.

Brenda was my sister-in-law and precious friend. She was one of the sweetest people I have known. We will miss her. So glad she was able to share her life with Don. I know she brought him happiness beyond measure. Love you and praying for you Don.

Brenda was my teacher, Sponsor when my sisters and I were Editors of the White Co High School Yearbook, friend to my sisters and me, to my bridge playing mother and most importantly my bridge playing Grandmother. Brenda was a dynamic person in so many ways. She invested in people. Long after I was her student she was still my teacher. She shared her family with my sisters and me and we are fortunate to consider her son Todd as a close friend. There are no telling how many young people she invested in as a teacher in the White Co Schools. I am just thankful I was one of those students then friends with Brenda. Even though I did not take her typing class in high school (I took physics and wow has that class really helped my career) she helped me learn to type when computers came on the scene. When my sister Cynthea and I needed guidance, all hours of the day and night, she was there for us and our mates. Please tell Mary Hill, Pinkie and Mary Willie you are there to be their 4th.

I am praying for you and the entire family. Brenda's life brought joy to many and all will miss her radiant smile and refreshing radiance. May our Father comfort you during this time of great loss.

Brenda was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her and a dear friend of mine while I lived in St. Louis. She was support when I lost my husband and a true Christian friend to everyone. God has called one of His true angels HOME and we'll soon resume where we left off for eternity.

Having lost Bob, I can imagine what you are going through. My sincerest sympathy to you and your family.

Brenda was fun to be around and loved to travel. Bonnie and I accompanied Brenda and Don on trips to Europe and our final trip together thru the Canadian Rockies. With her Southern charm (not to mention the accent to match) she lit up the room. Her inquisitive nature and smiling face always led to interesting conversations. Everyone wanted to talk to Brenda. She will be missed.

To my beautiful friend from Tn we shared many wonderful experiences together. She was beautiful on the inside as well as outside. I will truly miss lunch dates, Bible study and church with her. A true blessing to have called her my friend.

It was a pleasure to know Brenda!! Her smile and happy voice were always encouraging!! Joy is the word she brings to mind!! True joy in the Lord! She will be tremendously missed. Until we meet again.

Brenda was a very dear friend and I will miss her immensely. She was kind, funny, warm, charming and always smiling. She lit up the room every time she entered. She enjoyed life and was so very happy. I have many wonderful memories and glad she came into my life about 20 years ago. I miss her already.

Brenda was a close friend who will always be remembered for her kindness, warmth and love of life . She was a ray of southern sunshine and charm. This is not the end. We will see each other again and laugh once more.

Mother n law and children’s grandma. Her vibrant spirit, love. and commitment to her family was amazing. We will miss her and celebrate her!

The St Louis Bridge family lost a great player and friend! She will be missed by many. She loved playing and competing and did both with a smile! May her good memories last a lifetime!

I cannot remember a time when Brenda did not have a huge smile on her face; any room she walked into lit up immediately. Always positive and upbeat, and such a fabulous teacher. Heaven just gained a beautiful angel!

Brenda always made me smile. She was full of life. I loved her accent. She will be sorely missed.

I am so very sad to her of Brenda's passing. She has been an exceptional friend since the 8th grade and will be missed more than I can say. I loved her so much!

I am beyond sad at the passing of our precious friend Brenda! What a wonderful, cheerful friend she was, and SO ADORABLE!! My heart aches for Don and family. May God wrap His loving arms around them and surround them with His perfect peace and comfort! Oh how we already miss her!!!❤

So sorry for your loss. This is a part of life we are never ready to see but there is comfort in knowing Brenda is with our Saviour and has no pain. Praying for Don and other family members.

What a sweet and loving person Brenda was to so many. She was like sunshine only huggable! I will miss her big beautiful smile, her sweet Southern drawl, her high heels and sparkles, but most of all the precious friendship I was blessed to have with her. I can picture her in Our Savior's arms, reuniting with family and friends who have gone before, and talking up a storm...Happy in eternity! I'll always love you, sweetie.
