Jack has been a friend for many years, back into the 1950's, in Waupaca. One of the greatest people I have ever known. Jack was a groomsman for my wedding to Christine in 1969, pretty much sums it up. We never had much time together in our later years, as I was out of the country much of the time. I hope to see him later in the afterlife!

Becky and Family, praying for y´all confidently knowing Jesus will sustain you. This earth´s journey is so short, Jack lived it well. The love that y´all had for each other will be a daily reminder of God´s goodness and mercy. You are in my heart and prayers during this time of sorrow. May the Lord provide you with peace and healing." Psalm 33:20, "The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in him with all our hearts. His wraparound presence will strengthen us." Becky and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jack's death. I always so enjoyed visiting with him when I came to Scottsbluff and went to church there. He was such a kind and caring man. I also enjoyed listening to both of you singing at church. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family.

We were fortunate enough to live next door to Jack and Becky for several years. You couldn't find better neighbors! It was tough moving away from them knowing the standard they set would never be matched! Jack and Becky have been some of the kindest people we have ever met. Jack was truly a genuine person, and he cared so much for everyone. I'm grateful that our 2 oldest children's lives have been touched by Jack and Becky. You will be forever in our hearts and prayers.

what I best remember about Jack was that dry sense of humor. We would be in a meeting or working on some curriculum thing and all of a sudden, he would say something in his soft voice. Completely out of the blue and having all of us laughing. Thank you Jack for helping me get through some mighty boring meetings with your humor!

Where to begin with Jack? Well he was literally the man, the myth, the legend. He was someone who would surprise you at every place you were working at. He´d randomly show up to make sure you were doing alright. Jack was a legend. I don´t think anyone on earth could compare to the life long dedication Jack gave to so many, and the abundance of incredible knowledge he held. I miss him dearly already. You were a great coach and an even better coworker Mr. Martin. Thank you for the years and years of sacrifice to the community of Scottsbluff and Gering and the many lives you changed. I will miss sitting in the break room watching you have your Dr. Pepper and that special ice cream bar. Until we meet again sir. Thank you!

Jack was a wonderful guy I knew in my early teens when we went to Bible camp in Waupaca. My dad was the camp pastor and he was great friends with Jack's mom and dad. Jack was a big part of the good, healthy times we all shared at Bible camp and I'm very sad by this great loss. Sending condolences and God's blessings to his family.

I also sad to hear if his passing. I remember Jack as always a kind and gentle man who loved to be around kids. He always was ready to say hi to me when I would see him and would ask how my kids were doing. He will be greatly missed by a lot as he was a very great and humble man.
I will keep his family in my prayers as they walk through this chapter of life.

We did not know Jack but know Aaron through Minden Schools. Jack sounds like a great guy and hope you will be able to share good memories and love and the sympathy you will all receive through this time will help.

Mr Martin was my PE teacher at McKinley Elementary. He had a love for kids. On our birthdays, he would put us on his shoulders and put our heads through the basketball hoops.

I am so sad to hear this news. Jack was one of my majors--had him in several classes--a great student and even better teacher. All my sympathy to his family.

Becky, my grandson let me know about Jack´s passing. I´m so sorry. I lost Doug in January 202I, so I know how hard this is. I have such fond memories of Valley Voices and Pickle Chiffon Pie! Thinking of you and saying prayers for you and your boys.

Jack was such a great guy, well respected teacher and role model for students. I had the privilege of working as the school nurse at LincolnElementary and Junior High where I had visits from Jack. I remember our many conversations, ending with a few laughs. He loved the students and would share his concerns about some of them. He loved subbing for PE. He had to sub for music and was a little concerned that it wasn´t his specialty. He touched many lives and was loved and will be missed by many. Thanks for the memories, Jack.
