Sandra Seiler Obituary

Sandra 'Sandy' Seiler

May 31, 1951 ~

February 3, 2025

Sandy, Utah-Sandra Ann Reynolds Seiler, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and cherished memories. Born and raised in Payson, Utah, Sandra, affectionately known as Sandy, was the devoted daughter of Mack VanLeuvan Reynolds and Anna Lucina Jones. She met the love of her life, David, with whom she built a beautiful family and life filled with faith and dedication.

Sandy was the proud and loving mother of eight children, grandmother to twenty-one, and great-grandmother to four. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family to her beloved dogs and grand-pups, who brought her immense joy.

A woman of unwavering faith, Sandy had a strong testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her life was a testament to her dedication to service and community. She held numerous leadership roles, including CERT certification, Relief Society President, Primary President, PTA President, Community Scout Leader, and Stake Young Women Councilor. Sandy's resilience and strength were also evident in her lifelong battle with HHT, where her dedication to evolving treatments offers hope for future breakthroughs.

Sandy's greatest accomplishment was being a devoted mother, attending every performance and special event for her children, and ensuring each felt uniquely appreciated. Her family will fondly remember dance parties in the kitchen, snail hunting adventures, sleepovers, "Cookie Day" with the grandkids, and cherished holiday traditions that enriched their lives.

She is survived by her loving husband, David, her eight children, twenty-one grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Sandy is also survived by three of her four brothers, with one preceding her in death.

Words that capture Sandy's essence include heroic, service-oriented, prayerful, passionate, phenomenal, resilient, exceptional, caring, inspiring, attentive, spiritually in tune, an incredible example, optimistic, nurturing, an exceptional cook, and an amazing tradition starter. She will be remembered as someone who always went above and beyond, regardless of circumstances. She was a friend to the friendless.

Sandy lived a full, wonderful, and impactful life, always in alignment with God. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Survived by her husband Dave, children: Angie, Amy(Kerry), Jackie(Brian), Dustin(Dave), Nathan(Sarah), Weston(Kellie), Mackenzie, Aubrey.

In lieu of flowers, Sandy would request donations to the HHT Foundation. curehht.org

Sandy was always so warm and friendly to me. She had a beautiful gift of making others feel included. Years after we moved away I had a dream of her. She was in a beautiful temple, dressed in white, inviting me to come inside, smiling and full of love, as always.

As a new convert to the church, Sandy was there to welcome me and help to feel His love. She and Dave are two names written in the journal of my life as disciples and examples of Christ-like love and service.

Dave, so sorry and sad to hear of Sandy's passing. As a neighbor and friend I'll always remember the great person she was...and great example of just trying hard to do what's right for all around her in this tough old world. Best of thoughts to you and your kids.

Puppy Time during the summer of 2019 was a wonderful experience for all of the children who participated. Sandy taught us about puppy care and how to love others.

I grew up with Sandy's kids. I was in their house as much as I was in mine. Sandy gave everyone the shirt off her back. This was such a tragedy.

She has been a part of our Constitutional study group the past 2 1/2 years over Zoom. Sandy delightfully participated and often shared gems of whit and wisdom with us up to almost her last week. She never complained about her health challenges, so we had no idea she was declining so fast. She will be surely missed.
