Brenda Linn Obituary

Brenda Everhart Linn, 82, of Salisbury, NC passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House.

Brenda was born July 15, 1942 in Rowan County, NC to the late Rudolph Harding Everhart and Estelle Arey Everhart. She was a graduate of Richfield High School and Salisbury Business College. Brenda worked at Belk's of Salisbury, for Dr. Bobby Lomax, Dr. Murphy and Dr. Norman Sloop and later at the VA Medical Center for 20 years.

She was a member of Milford Hills United Methodist Church. Brenda was a member of a Canasta card group; she enjoyed sewing and going to the beach and shopping. She was an animal lover.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Joseph “Joe” D. Linn whom she married June 3, 1962; son, Joel Thomas Linn (Stephanie) of Granite Quarry, NC; daughter, Jennifer Carole Linn; grandchildren, Renna-Davis Linn, Jillian Raby and Julianna Raby and Logan and Kristina Everhart; sister, Loretta Eudy of Oakboro; brother, Lanny H. Everhart (Vickey) of Gold Hill, NC and her pets Lucy and Fritz.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday (August29) at Summersett Funeral Home.

A private family graveside service will be held at Rowan Memorial Park.
