Edward Eugene "Eddie" Brooks
GREENVILLE - Edward Eugene "Eddie" Brooks, 60, passed away September 1, 2024 after a lengthy illness.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for a later date.
Eddie had several hobbies including, golfing, boating, fishing, hunting, target shooting and especially hanging out with friends and family. He was employed as a loan officer in the banking industry for 30 years.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Charles Brooks, uncle, Phil Senter, and grandmother, Maude Senter.
He is survived by his sons: Russell Brooks and Garrett Brooks; his girlfriend, Hannah Evans; the mother of his two sons, Joni Brooks; his mother, Patsy Brooks of Sanford; sister, Tracy Brooks Armstrong and husband, Craig, and their children, John Paul Taylor and Shelby Taylor, all of Lillington, NC; special friends, Roy Clifton, Ty and Tracy Bridges, Kirk Waddell, Eric Jordan, Jerry Cullipher and Charlie Wickizer, all of Greenville; and his special grand-dog, Winston.
