Kiwanis Club of St George's, Bermuda
February 10, 2026
The Kiwanis Club of St. George's, Bermuda, extends our deepest condolences on the passing of our esteemed past president and dedicated member, Denise Priscilla Brown Trew. Denise built a remarkable life of service, community involvement, and resilience in Bermuda, where she became a beloved figure in our island community.
Her contributions to community service shone brightest through her long-standing involvement with the Kiwanis Club of St. George's. Joining in the early years of our club's formation, Denise rose to key leadership roles, including secretary in 1992 under President Diane Kelly. By 2008, she had served as president and continued to lend her talents as mistress of ceremonies for memorable events, such as our elegant hat show fundraiser at the World Heritage Centre, where her poise and enthusiasm helped raise funds for children's causes in Bermuda. Denise's passion for Kiwanis' mission-to improve the world one child and one community at a time-was evident in her tireless efforts to organize events, support youth programs, and foster community spirit in the East End.
Denise's legacy within our club and St. George's endures through the lives she touched and the positive change she championed. In this time of sorrow, we hold her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers. In her honor, the Kiwanis Club of St. George's commits to continuing her work, ensuring that her spirit of service inspires future generations.
Rest in peace, Denise-your contributions will never be forgotten.
