On this Valentine's Day I am thinking fondly of Tara and being thankful for her lovely smile, kindness, compassion and her respect for all God's creatures, including animals. I feel privileged that I knew her and have wonderful memories of her which stay with me. --Peggy Barr Eastman

During this Christmas time I am thinking of Tara -- her smile, her gentleness, her love of animals as well as people and her many talents. She was very organized and knew how to plan things and get them done. She was also a superb cook and liked to try new recipes. This is the season of love, and Tara was and is deeply loved.

Very dear Tara, I think of you every day. You are a model of kindness, gentleness and intelligence. We in the family benefitted from your cooking skills and your love of gardens, flowers, parks, animals-and your love for my son. We miss your laugh and we could sure use your organizational ability these days! I treasured our time, after your first stoke, carefully reading aloud to each other by Zoom :). Christmas is coming soon, the first without you here. We will all be holding you close. Love, Jill

Dearest Chris,
I have just seen this recently published Obit honoring your beautiful, obviously extraordinary wife, and I again send my warmest condolences to you and your whole family. We miss you SO Much in Sonoma County, but I remain glad to know you are home where you grew up, surrounded by loved ones and family there, and held well by your "double Moms" as you once said. I hope you received the Steve Frankel materials I had snail mailed to you by your former job team; would love to know in the future if these turned out to be of use to you. Just know that you and Tara are in the hearts of SO many people, and I send up a tender prayer for Tara, knowing she is safe and free in her next heaven...but missing you very much there.
Kindly, Kalia in Sebastopol

Tara was always such a kind, mature, stellar and upstanding friend and role model in high school. She was warm and welcoming and fun always. I enjoyed French class with her and many other adventures. I send my condolences to her husband, Chris for the sudden loss of this beautiful life partner. Hugs and prayers.

I was shocked to hear about Tara's untimely passing. I worked with her at SRCH and knew her as a very talented, kindhearted, hard-working, and thoughtful person. The Tubbs fire in 2017 made it an especially challenging time to work at SRCH. We were lucky and grateful have had Tara and her organizational skills to get us through each day.

Tara, you sound like a beautiful human lost too soon. We may have not known each other but went to high school together. I wish you peace and hope to your family.
