Dane Rigaud Obituary

Dane Anthony Rigaud

September 10, 1949 - July 28, 2024

Clovis, California - Dane Anthony Rigaud was born in Los Angeles, CA, living a rich and varied life. He grew up in a Catholic household, serving as an altar boy and graduating from Cathedral High. Dane enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he trained as a Morse Systems Operator, serving tours in Japan and England, where he was part of local music groups. Later, Dane cross trained as an Aircraft Loadmaster, becoming a C141 crewmember; travelling to many countries from Travis AFB, CA.

Dane transitioned to the Air Force Reserves and pursued a career in healthcare. He became a CNA, then a LVN and a Registered Nurse. Dane worked for over 25 years at St. Agnes Hospital in Fresno, CA.

Dane's faith was central to his life. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1978. Upon receiving the Holy Spirit, Dane became deeply involved in various churches, ministries, and Bible study groups. Music remained an important part of Dane's life, as he sang and played guitar in church choirs and worship teams. Dane was known for his warm smile, sense of humor, and commitment to prayer and intercession for his family, friends and others.

Dane is survived by his wife Deborah, daughter Dana, sister Francesca, granddaughter Jordyn and many friends, co-workers, plus members of the Body of Christ who were impacted by his life and service.
