Just saw the notice that Dick passed away. Explains the silence on Facebook. Met Dick almost 20 years ago at work, we were on an ugly project together. In spite, he always showed himself a gracious, capable and gentle man. So sorry he's gone.

July 12, 2024. Just found out today about Dick's passing. I had the honor of him participating in some of the motorcycle rides I organized and rode alongside him on a number of Virginia Garcia charity rides which he promoted enthusiastically. He often invited me and my wife Ann to watch him play double bass at Outa Za Blue which we did. A multi-talented man and always stimulating to talk to. Very sad to see him go, no doubt twisting the throttle to his next destination.
