Nancy Kay Custard, age 82, of Omaha, was born on October 27, 1941, in Omaha, to Roy and Alice (Vomweg) Raabe. She passed away on April 6, 2024, in Omaha. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Alice Raabe. Nancy is survived by her husband, Harlan; her children, Lori (Brian) Vandeventer, Scott (Cheryl) Custard, Kristi (Paxton) Reinsch, Amy Custard; and grandchildren, Ashley (Jeff) Hamik, Allison Vandeventer, Nick Hronek, Sarah Vandeventer, Calvin (Maddie) Custard, Conlan Custard, Anna Reinsch, Henry Reinsch; great-grandchild, Alexis Hronek; and siblings, Leroy (Joyce) Raabe, Gloria (Walt) Sass, and Pam (John) Schwenck.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at Bethany Lutheran Church. VISITATION with family will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Bethany Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Bethany Lutheran Church or The American Heart Association.

Harlan and family remember Nancy from our years working with the Elkhorn Jaycees and going to Church at Bethany Harlan and Nancy were always friendly to me and my wife at both church and in the Jaycees sorry for your loss I wish her heaven after death

Remembering Nancy with her great sense of humor, caring for others, and fun to be around. My childhood memories are of my parents being good friends with card playing by adults & kids playing together. Nancy truly was a blessing to those around her.
