Alice Baroni Obituary

Heaven gained an angel on September 16, 2024, Alice Faye Lopinto Baroni peacefully passed away at the age of 78. She battled kidney and heart disease the past few years. A life-long resident of Kenner, she was born in New Orleans, attended St. Mary's Dominican High School and Riverdale High School. She spent many years working for the City of Kenner (event manager of the Kenner Pavilion). She loved planning and working parties at the Pavilion. Prior to working at the City of Kenner she worked for Powell Insurance (receptionist). She also spent about four years working as Mrs. Claus at Celebration in the Oaks. She was a friend to all and always made people smile. She donated her time for many years to multiple organizations. She loved country music especially Garth Brooks, the Smokey Mountains, dancing and spending time with her family. She loved to Jamaica Dance and was a member of the Jamaica Swing Club. She was a member of the Vineyard Christian Church of New Orleans in Kenner for the past 24 years. She loved her church and was very active in volunteering. Loving mother of Kevin Baroni, Keith (Wanda) Baroni and Kirt (Jessica) Baroni. Grandmother of Morgan (Nick) Radosta, Sean Baroni, Mia (Jonathan) Ferguson, Abigail Baroni, Ty Baroni, Kallie Baroni, Greg Foster Jr, Grant Foster, Gavin Foster, Katie Bee and Nick Bee. Great Grandmother of Stella Radosta, Rowan Radosta, Jonathan Ferguson Jr, Grant Foster Jr and Gray Foster and longtime companion to the late Forest (Buck) Favre. Daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Lenoir) Lopinto, sister of late Joseph Lopinto Jr., the late Joseph Peter Lopinto, sister of the late Rosemary Lopinto and Bettye (Ronnie) Datusch. Aunt of Joe Baroni Jr, Nicole Cavataio, Lance Bush, Brett Bush, Peter Lopinto Jr, David Lopinto, Corey Hebert, Jimmy Chatelain, Jarod Chatelain, Jennifer Silver, Tammy Lopinto and Carley Lopinto. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Vineyard of New Orleans in Kenner (4340 Sal Lentini Parkway) on Thursday September 26, 2024.
