John and my husband started out in the 19th precinct. The men he started out with he never forgot. He attended their funerals and helped them when needed. He was a good and decent man. My husband served 29 years on the NYPD. Rest in peace John.

I had the pleasure of working with Judge Marks on numerous occasions when I worked in adolescent substance abuse treatment in Nassau County. Judge Marks was in drug treatment court and was a caring and firm guy. He presided over a number of cases that I was directly involved in. Judge Marks will be missed.
