Lee Senefelder Obituary

Lee Ellen (Timmerman) Senefelder, 64, Kentland, previously of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at her home.

She was born Oct. 16, 1959, in Fort Wayne, to the late Donald and Carolyn (Wyatt) Timmerman. Lee Ellen was a 1978 graduate of Northrup High School of Fort Wayne and would later receive her bachelor's degree from Purdue University. Her marriage was to Henry Senefelder on Aug. 18, 1984, in Fort Wayne and he survives.

Lee Ellen and Henry have been a part of the Kentland community for the past 11 years.

She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kentland where she served as Lector during Mass. Prior to her retirement, Lee Ellen worked at Purdue and home health care. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading spiritual books.

Surviving along with her husband is one sister, Jane (Ralph) Clark, Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 4 - 7 p.m. CDT Friday, June 7 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland. Funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. CDT Saturday, June 8 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kentland. Fr. Sean Aaron to officiate Mass.

Interment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

I met Lee Ellen at Northcrest Elementary School in Fort Wayne, and graduated with her from Northrop Sr. High in 1978. She was always so kind to people. Such a sweet soul. Our most sincere condolences to her family and friend. Lee Ellen received her wings and has been called to our Lord in Heaven.
