Ronald Terry Cameron, 77, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 12:47 am, Monday, May 27, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 21, 1946, in Front Royal, Virginia, to William "Peck" Rayburn and Ruth Loreene (Hurt) Cameron.
Ronald married Christine Fairchild on October 21, 1986, in Front Royal, Virginia. He is a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of Christian Heritage Church in Wabash, and lifetime member of the VFW. Ronald was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, animals, and feeding birds.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Cameron, of Wabash; children, Mindy Cameron and Terisa Cameron, both of Pennsylvania, Richard (Samantha) Sprague, of Rochester, Charles Daub, of Wabash, Janice Daub, of Fort Wayne, and Michelle Daub and Margaret (Anthony) Warren, both of North Manchester, and Danielle Cameron, of Rochester; grandchildren, Brittany (Brandon) Stamper (Ron's favorite), of Carmel, Jessica (Rafael) Nuñez, of Wabash, Samantha Daub, of Kokomo, Meghan Daub and Kaitlyn Daub, of Wabash, Matthew Warren and Sarah Warren, both of North Manchester, Cameron Sprague, Terry Cameron, and Aileana Sprague, all of Rochester, Misty Crawford, of Pennsylvania, Patrick Crawford, David Corbin, and Joseph Corbin, all of Wabash, Stacey Whited, Ronald Whited, Jr., and Evan Whited, all of Virginia; 13 great grandchildren; and his sisters, Sue Campbell, of Wabash, and Caren "Pat" Poole, of O'Brien, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donnie Cameron; sister, Carmen May, and his grandson, Orville Crawford.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Christian Heritage Church, 2776 River Road, Wabash, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Friends may call Friday from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the church.
Preferred memorial is the Animal Shelter of Wabash County.
