Richard Rautmann Obituary

Richard C. Rautmann, 81, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Born July 15, 1940 in Sheboygan, Richard was a son of the late Edwin and Viola Jurss Rautmann. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Central High School in 1958. On January 16, 2004, he was united in marriage to Carol A. Repphun Mountiantes in Sheboygan.
Richard was a meat cutter at Piggly Wiggly for 37 years before his retirement in 2000. He and Carol were members of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and building and operating model scale trains.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Marshall (Vicki) Rautmann, Randy (Shelly) Rautmann, Tony (April) Mountaintes and Kevin (Tana) Champeau; his grandchildren, Angela (Dennis) Rivera Rautmann, Kaitlyn (Brandon Emmons) Rautmann, Jacob and William Rautmann, Kyle (Jessica), Ryan and Nicholas Mountaintes and Jessica, Jenell and Mikala Champeau; five great grandchildren including Chase and Zarah Rivera Rautmann; his brother, Edwin (Beverly) Rautmann; two sisters-in-law, Joan and Helen Rautmann; a brother-in-law, Jerry (Carol) Repphun; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and a brother-in-law.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
