Regina B. (D'Amico) Tammaro, age 78, a resident of Tewksbury for nearly 50 years, formerly of East Boston,
passed away at her home on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of Anthony M. Tammaro, who passed away on June 5, 2022.
Born in East Boston on July 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Reginald D' Amico and the late Rose V.
(Verdericco) D'Amico.
Regina was raised in East Boston and attended St. Lazurus Parochial School and East Boston High School.
Following her wedding on May 17, 1975, she devoted her life to her late husband and raising their two
daughters.
Regina was an active member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club and a frequent visitor and volunteer at the Tewksbury
Senior Center, where she enjoyed socializing and partaking of the numerous activities offered. In addition, she
was a member and past president of the Tewksbury Emblem Club.
She enjoyed taking care of and decorating her home, listening to Elvis Presley, classic rock, and 1970's pop. She loved riding around town in her convertible with the top down and the radio blasting.
Regina's greatest enjoyment was spending time doting on her beloved granddaughters.
She is survived by her two daughters, Joy T. Macri and her husband Justin, Jillian L. Tammaro, and her two granddaughters, Layla G. and Nina R. Macri. She leaves behind niece and nephew Janine and James DeFeo.
Regina was the sister of the late Adeline DeFeo.
Family and friends are invited to her graveside service on Monday, July 28, at 1:30 p.m. at the Tewksbury Cemetery Veterans Lot, 172 East Street, Tewksbury. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
donations in her memory should be made payable to Friends of the Elderly and mailed to the Tewksbury
Senior Center, 175 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876
