Leslie Fordham Obituary

Dr. Leslie Hart Fordham, 57, of Royston, GA was welcomed into her heavenly home on Tuesday,
June 7, 2022.
Dr. Fordham was born in Athens, GA on May 9, 1965, daughter of Louise Smith Hart of Royston, GA and the late Doyle Thomas Hart. She was the former owner and operator of Comer Vet Clinic and currently working as a professor at Emmanuel College. Dr. Fordham attended Liberty Baptist Church in Carnesville, was chairman of the board at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, as well as a board member and state officer for the Outdoor Dream Foundation (ODF).
She is currently rejoicing with ODF recipients and volunteers who have gone on before her. She was a woman of conviction who loved her Lord, her family, her ODF family, her church, and her community. To know her was to love her. Her contagious smiles, laughs and hugs were true illustrations of Christ's love. Her family grew each time she embraced a new ODF family, and she considered them that- part of her family, thereafter. She will be missed, and the loss of Leslie will be deeply felt by many, but we are promised we shall see her again.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Kenneth Randy Fordham; and brother and sister-in-law, Bradley and Susan Hart of Royston.
A celebration of life for Dr. Fordham will be held in the Liberty Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, with Rev. David Souderes and Pastor Beth Stephens Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Cary Memorial Gardens in Royston.
The family will receive friends at Liberty Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening. During other times the family will be at the home.
