Larry Wayne Cunningham, 86, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in Edmond.
Larry, the son of Warren W and Ola (Griffin) Cunningham, was born March 14, 1938, in Ada. He graduated from Vanoss High School, with the class of 1957. He then attended East Central University, where he got his degree in accounting, which he applied to his trade as a CPA with Horne and Company and in the oil and gas industry for Jerry Scott Drilling and Matthew/Cudd Energy. Larry proudly served in the US Army. On December 23, 1960, he married Sarah Smith at the Rock Crossing Church in Grayrock, Texas. Larry enjoyed fishing and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Howard Cunningham; and a son-in-law, Bart West.
Larry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sarah; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Becky Cunningham, and Brian and Melissa Cunningham; a daughter, Kim West; grandchildren and their spouses, Cynthia and Adam Lowery, Jordan and Richard Dallas, Jacob Wise, Jeremy Porsche, Tray Lindemann, Kelby and Darian Lindemann, Talon Wise and Blake Williams, and DeLanie and Jeremiah Canada; great grandchildren, Josephine, Liam, Rhett, Macyn and Rylan; one sister, Warna Sales; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, with Matt Pollack officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
