Kenneth Berry, age 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 29, 2025, after a long illness. He was born on June 30, 1949, to Charles and Bessie (Conran) Berry in Muskegon, Michigan. Ken honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp being stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, and completing a tour of duty in VietNam as a machine gunner.He was a hard working man who spent 30 years at Sparta Foundry. He loved working with his hands and took pride in his work no matter what he did. He was a man of deep faith and was a member of Jibson Immanuel Baptist Church. He loved his family and spending time with them. He married the former Diane Young on February 11, 1972, who survives him. They shared 53 years together along with two children, Kim Berry of Ravenna and Scott (Kristie) Berry of Fruitport. Four grandchildren, Kiesha, Ian, Liam and Brylee. Step-sister, Darlene (Jerry) Paquin, step-sister-in-law, Sue Bennett, and step-brother-in-law, Levoy Dake, and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Berry and Bessie and Russell Bennett, brother, Ronald Berry, and sisters, Donna Hills and Wanda Kanaar, step-sister, Frances Dake, and step-brother, Owen Bennett. A private family service will take place at a later date. Condolences for the family mey be left on Kenneth’s guestbook at www.throopfh.com.
