On Saturday May 14, 2022, Jeremy Allen Maurer, devoted husband, father, son and brother passed away unexpectedly at age 44. Jeremy leaves his loving wife of 15 years, Jessica, daughter Anna (12), and son Henry (9). He is also survived by his parents, James and Emily Maurer, and his sister Sara Bolsoni (Mark). Jeremy was a wonderful uncle to Dmitry, Oliver, Violet, and Margot and leaves behind a loving aunt, cousins, friends, and in-laws Thomas and Leslie Raetz and Melissa Witschen (Eric).
Jeremy's first priority in life was always his family. He met the love of his life at Central Michigan University, where they both graduated from Business School. Jeremy grew up in Frankenmuth, MI, but he and Jessica settled in West Bloomfield to raise their family. While Jeremy prioritized meaningful time with his family, he was a very hard worker with a long and successful career in sales, often winning awards for exceeding sales goals. For the last 5 years he has worked as the Senior Account Executive of Software and Services Sales with Alta Vista Technology. Jeremy thrived at Alta Vista and his co-workers felt more like a family to him.
Jeremy believed in giving back and he found time to volunteer at his church and his children's schools. He coached his kid's sports teams and never missed a game or activity. He loved to travel with his family, relax at home and spend time on the water. He enjoyed his life every single day. In between spending quality time with his family, Jeremy was always cheering on all of his Detroit sports teams, loyally watching through many losing seasons.
While Jeremy was respected and loved by all who knew him, he will be most remembered for his good natured humor, integrity, and above all his love and devotion to his wife and children. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 18 from 5:00-7:30 pm and Thursday, May 19 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Lynch and Sons Funeral Home 340 North Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake. Viewing (10am) and funeral service (11am) will be Friday, May 20 at North Congregational Church 36520 W. 12 Mile Rd. in Farmington Hills.
Friends wishing to make a donation to Anna & Henry's college savings, can do so directly through Jessica.

I got to know Jeremy through working on a project with Alta Vista. What a wonderful person and what a tremendous loss. My heart goes out to his family, friends and coworkers. He made an impact everywhere he went and will be missed.

We had the pleasure of being at Jeremy and Jessica´s wedding in 2007. What a pleasure it was to watch their love and family grow to include Anna and Henry. Jeremy was not just a fine young man, but an exemplary husband, father and friend to so many. One of the best has be taken too soon. Our most heartfelt sympathies to Jessica, Anna, Henry, and all of those who loved Jeremy and will be touched by the void his passing has left in so many lives.

Thank you for always giving my heart a rest when Adrianna would go for a play date. I knew when she was with you guys she was always safe. Thank you for the drive in theater trips you always included her on. I never worried about her. You are a amazing family. I remember when my oldest chaperoned a field trip with you both and she commented on the love and kisses mom and dad shared. It was so cute. True love Never leaves.
