Gregory Harler Obituary
Gregory "Greg" graduated from Eastern High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky College of Engineering. Greg dedicated over 25 years of his professional life as a Mechanical Engineer at the former Naval Ordnance Station and later served the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
A man of strong faith, Greg was an active member of Southeast Christian Church's Blankenbaker Campus, where he also served as an Usher for over 25 years. He was an avid Kentucky sports fan and a history buff with a particular interest in historic covered bridges. Greg will be remembered for his steadfast commitment to his family, his work, and his faith community, as well as for his humor, kindness, and gentleness.
He is survived by his sister, Pamela E. Webb (Jeff), his nephew, Nathan "Paul" Webb, and a host of extended family and friends. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home at 12900 Shelbyville Road in Middletown, Kentucky, and at the Blankenbaker Campus Fireside Room from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Blankenbaker Campus. Burial will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Augusta, Kentucky (Bracken County) immediately following the funeral, where he will be laid to rest with his parents.
