Gilbert "Gibby" Feinstein, 79, of Davis, IL died at 1:20 a.m., Sunday, December 5, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 11, 1942 in Chicago, IL the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest and Rose (Slonim) Feinstein. He graduated from Lane Tech in Chicago class of 1960. Gibby married Chrystle D. "Candy" Crawford on July 13, 1984 in Las Vegas, NV. Gibby owned several wrecking yards in both California and Illinois. After moving back to Illinois in 1993, he sold new merchandise at numerous flea markets in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Gibby had the most wonderful sense of humor. He never met a stranger and as his mother in law once said, he could sell ice to eskimoes.
He was a devoted and loving husband to Candy for 37 years. He helped raise her two sons D. Ray (Erin) Caswell and John (Jennifer) Caswell and loved them as if he were their biological father.
Gibby was married for 21 years to his first wife Marla. They had two children, Gary Marshall Feinstein and Marilyn Elaine Feinstein (Brian) Painter; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother and sister.
Cremation Rites to be Accorded with a memorial ceremony to be held at a later date.
