Elizabeth Cox Obituary

Elizabeth Kay Cox of Dover passed away Monday, June 13, 2022, at Kent General Hospital. She was 41.
Elizabeth was born May 8, 1981, in Dover, Delaware to the late Joseph Cox Jr. and Donna Thomas.
She worked at Courtland Manor Nursing Home as a housekeeper. In addition, she worked at Dover Educational & Community Center/latchkey program and the Dover Post. Elizabeth loved listening to music, watching movies and especially spending time with her babies and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by cousins, Billy Jack and Lucky Cox, Uncle William Cox Sr., brother Bubba Cox.
She is survived by her children, Alilyah, Envy and Junior all of Dover, Brothers: Joe Cox and his wife Julie, Billy Joe Cox and Kris Abbott; Sisters: Amy Cox Frazier and her husband Ken and Amber Cox and Davy; Grandmother: Gertrude Cox. Uncles: Ken and wife Darlene Cox, Billy and Sharon Thomas and Eddie. Nephews: Baby Joe (Big Dome), Lucas & Bubba Joe Jr, Nieces: Sam, Taylor, Gertie, Gemma(Big Booty Gemma), Payton, Frankie, and Zoey(Chum). Great Nephews: Kenny, Michael (Baby Man) and Zion. Close cousins: Angel and husband Ken Cox Sedliak, Kim(Pebbles) Cox, Scooter, Alicia and husband Steve Brewington, Scooter, Harley, Jade, Bri, Sky, Bobby Jo, Tatyana, Taj, and Amyeric. Best Friend: Heather Elder, as well as many other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 25, 2022, at Little Creek Firehouse from 2pm-5pm.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral expenses.
